Kendrick Lamar Disses Big Sean & Jay Electronica on Leaked Verse

Ten years after Kendrick Lamar’s infamous “Control” verse that he name dropped multiple rappers in—several of the aforementioned artists have caught another stray.

In a newly surfaced alternate version of Kendrick’s song “ELEMENT,” Kendrick takes aim at French Montana, Jay Electronica, and Big Sean—with a brief mention of Drake and Meek Mill as well.

Kendrick raps:

“French Montana speaking on me in interviews
Very cynical, dry hating something I don’t approve
Jay Electronica threw silencers on my GRAMMY night
Another dead prophet hoping the God’ll give ’em life
Big Sean keep sneak dissing, I let it slide
I think his false confidence got him inspired
I can’t make ’em respect you, baby, it’s not my job
You’re finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme
Cute ass raps, get your puberty up
Make you a classic album before you come at us
Drake and Meek Mill beef might got you gassed up
But I’m a whole ‘nother beast, I’ll really f*ck you up”

A snippet of this version of the song had previously leaked back in 2019, which rules out any suspicion that this could be the work of AI. The song appears to be a minimum of five years old, as Kendrick and Big Sean have since settled their differences.
