After news broke earlier this week that Megan Thee Stallion was with Tory Lanez during his run in with the law this past weekend—Meg has now explained the situation further.

It was initially reported that Megan was handcuffed during the incident, however the situation has been revealed to be much more serious than originally thought.

In a statement shared to Instagram, the Houston artist has confirmed that she was shot and that police assisted in getting her to a nearby hospital.
