Keefe D Arrested In Connection to Fatal Shooting of Tupac Shakur

UPDATE #2: Davis has officially been charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon for the killing of Tupac Shakur.

Las Vegas police announced the charges during a press conference earlier today, which you can see below.


UPDATE: Las Vegas police arrested Duane “Keefe D” Davis early Friday morning in connection to the 1996 drive-by shooting of Tupac Shakur.

The arrest comes two months after police searched his wife’s home, where they reportedly collected multiple computers, a cellphone, a hard drive, and several .40 caliber bullets, amongst other items.

The official charges against Davis have not yet been revealed, although the indictment is expected later today.


Las Vegas police executed a search warrant on Monday in connection to the death of the legendary Tupac Shakur.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released the following brief statement:

“LVMPD can confirm a search warrant was served in Henderson, Nevada on July 17, 2023, as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation. We will have no further comment at this time.”

The search took place less than 20 miles from the Las Vegas Strip where Tupac was killed in a drive-by shooting over 25 years ago.
