Jeremih’s condition is slowly improving after word broke earlier this week that the singer was in the ICU battling COVID-19.

It was initially reported that Jeremih was placed on a ventilator, however his cousin Willie Taylor has now confirmed that he is breathing on his own.

Jeremih is showing progress, breathing on his own and has been given a lower dosage on his medication. God is Amazing. Keep those prayers going up

In a statement to CNN, Jeremih’s family said that COVID has “viciously attacked [Jeremih’s] body” causing complications that are “rare for a young man his age without underlying conditions.” While his condition is improving, he is not out of the woods yet.
