It’s been well over a year & a half since J. Cole bestowed his 2014 Forest Hills Drive album upon us & despite leaving fans on the edge of their seats for the better half of the past year, the wait for new music may finally be drawing to an end.

Over the weekend BBC Radio 1Xtra’s own DJ Semtex counted down his top 5 emcees at the moment, throwing Cole in the #3 spot.  While breaking down his reasoning for the pick, Semtex accidentally let it slip out that Cole has a new project dropping before quickly cutting himself off.
