DJ Drama is setting himself up for a big year.

Coming off the news that he’s hard at work on his latest studio album—Drama has revealed that he is teaming up with De La Soul for a new installment in his iconic Gangsta Grillz mixtape series.

The news comes just one month after the heartbreaking death of De La Soul member Trugoy the Dove.

Earlier this month De La Soul delighted fans all over by bringing their classic catalog to streaming services. Now fans will have even more to look forward to.

The new installment to the Gangsta Grillz series looks like it will be one of two to be released this year, as Pusha T recently announced that he would be teaming up with Drama for a Gangsta Grillz project as well.
