While there is still a lot to be determined in 6ix9ine’s ongoing legal battle, reports have begun swirling that the rapper, real name Daniel Hernandez, is planning to reject witness protection if the option is presented.

According to a source close to the situation, 6ix9ine plans to opt-out of the witness protection program “so that he can continue to live a life full of fame.”

On November 18, 2018, Hernandez, along with his former manager and several other associates were arrested. Hernandez is charged with federal RICO and firearms charges, including conspiracy to murder and armed robbery.
