Nicki Minaj is hanging up the mic, for now at least.
The 36-year-old Queens rapper announced her retirement from music Thursday afternoon in a shocking turn of events.
“I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now.”
Over the span of her 12 year career Minaj released 4 albums, all of which have since been certified platinum, and 3 mixtapes.
